One-site conferences in Bundaberg

For most regional Queensland conference briefs, the choice comes down to splitting venue from accommodation, or running everything on one site. The split brief works when the venue's near the airport and the accommodation is near the venue. In Bundaberg it usually means two CBD locations a 10-minute drive apart, two contracts, and a logistics shuffle morning and evening.

The one-site brief works when the venue, the rooms and the dining team are upstairs of each other.   • The Quay Room — 48 m². Up to 25 theatre, 20 banquet, 18 classroom, 30 cocktail. Breakout or smaller meeting; configured without permanent AV for the lower price point.
  • The Vue Room — 48 m². Same capacities as Quay; permanent AV installed. Second concurrent breakout, or the streamed-keynote room.
  • Combined — up to 120 theatre, 120 banquet, 84 classroom, 120 cocktail. The full-floor option for a single large session.

Cabaret, long-table and U-shape setups also available; long-tables work well for executive retreats and board sessions.

Day delegate packages and AV

Day delegate packages bundle room hire, AV, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea into a per-delegate rate, with a half-day option for shorter agendas. The full PDF (rates + inclusions) downloads from the Functions page.

AV included as standard in the Burnett and Vue Rooms: projector, screen, wireless microphone, lectern and complimentary high-speed WiFi. Quay Room is configured without permanent projection (the cost-savings room) — we'll fit AV on request. Additional kit — extra microphones, live-stream rigs, video conferencing, stage lighting — spec'd against your run sheet at the planning stage.

Catering by the H2O kitchen on the ground floor: working lunches, hot lunches, plated dinners, canapé receptions, breakfast packages for residential conferences. Dietary handling and allergens managed upfront.

Delegate accommodation, direct-billed

44 hotel rooms across nine room types — corporate-standard Deluxe Queen and Deluxe King; Riverview rooms for executive delegates; Family Studio, Loft Apartment and Two Bedroom Apartment for long-stay or accompanied delegates needing a kitchenette.

Block holds at a negotiated corporate rate. Delegates book direct against your company code; we manage the rooming list at the property end. Block size confirmed at contract signing; additional capacity held against registration if requested.

Direct billing via the Travellers Group corporate account — one invoice covers venue hire, catering, AV, accommodation and any incidentals. Cost codes, PO references and PTSS-compliant invoicing all standard. The same account covers stays at the other four Travellers properties (Rockhampton, Emerald, Dubbo, Orange) if your delegates are touring multiple regional centres.

Yes. Three function rooms on the ground floor — the Burnett Room takes up to 70 theatre or 60 banquet, plus two smaller rooms (Quay and Vue, 25 theatre each) for break-outs and concurrent sessions. 44 hotel rooms upstairs for delegates flying in. H2O Restaurant & Bar handles lunches, working dinners and the closing-night reception. Same building, same point of contact.

What AV is included?
Projector, screen, wireless microphone, lectern and complimentary high-speed WiFi in every event space. Additional AV (extra microphones, live-stream rigs, stage lighting, video conferencing) can be added — specify in the enquiry and the events team will spec it against the run sheet. The Quay Room is configured without permanent AV as the lower-cost meeting space; if you need projection in the Quay Room, ask and we'll fit it.
How does the delegate accommodation block work?
Held room blocks at a negotiated corporate rate, with delegates booking direct against your company code. We confirm the block size at contract signing and can hold additional capacity if registration runs hot. Long-stay rates available for residential conferences over 7 nights. Direct billing via the Travellers Group corporate account on request — tell us at booking what your finance system needs to see on the invoice.
