Christmas parties should be easy to organise and even easier to enjoy. Choose from four ways to celebrate, from sunset drinks and canapés on the deck, to a generous shared feast, a sit-down Christmas dinner, or a seat at our shared festive afternoon, Merry by the River.
It all happens in one place. Our three function rooms open onto the riverfront deck, with 43 hotel rooms just upstairs. Arrive for a drink as the sun goes down, settle in for the evening, and when the party’s over, there’s no need to worry about the drive home.
Best of all, we take care of the festive details. Decorations, bon bons, Christmas tunes, an arrival drink, free undercover parking and your own function coordinator are all included, so you can spend less time organising and more time celebrating.

Our Sunday Session gets a festive makeover. Merry by the River is our shared Christmas party on the deck — perfect for teams, friends and smaller groups who want all the atmosphere of a Christmas party, without having to organise one themselves.
Book by the seat, gather your crew and we’ll take care of the rest. Expect live music, festive tables, great food and a deck full of Christmas cheer, all overlooking the Burnett River as the afternoon rolls into sunset.
A festive three-course menu is served to your table. Think honey-glazed ham terrine or roast pumpkin soup, followed by turkey roulade or slow-roasted pork, and Christmas pudding or a cinnamon pavlova wreath to finish.

Groups of 10–20Gather everyone around the table for a generous Christmas feast designed to share. Plates of honey-baked ham, roast turkey, king prawns and warm cobb loaf arrive at the centre of the table, ready to pass around and enjoy together.

The Burnett Room welcomes up to 60 guests seated or standing, while the Quay and Vue Rooms each accommodate up to 20 seated or 30 standing. For bigger celebrations, combine the spaces to welcome up to 120 guests — all with the Burnett River right outside.
